Life Size Scale Model of 1959 LeMans Winning Aston Martin

August 6, 2012

Okay, so this is cool.

It’s a 1:1 “model” of the Aston Martin that Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori drove to victory in the 1959 LeMans. The good folks at Autoblog posted a bunch of photos of this incredible piece of automotive “art”. The photos of this amazingly detailed execution (upholstered seats, real Aston Martin wheel knockoffs, etc.) were taken by Richard Pardon, a UK-based photographer. When you’re done looking at the Aston Martin, go see his site. It’s an amazing trove of automotive (and other) photography guaranteed to have you drooling.
