Fuelfed has organzied and run over 75 vintage rallies since 1998 and we’ve learned a thing or two on what makes for an enjoyable, exciting and safe event.

The Fuelfed MotorGearo 250 is our vintage European road rally held May 31-June 1, 2024. This is a curated driving event for classic European vehicles running over two days on the best hidden roads in the Midwest. Eight well sorted stages of varying topographical road courses are designed to give smaller vehicles a great driving experience.
The Fuelfed MG250 combines vintage European cars with great roads. The MG250 is limited to thirty five cars (manufactured 1995 or earlier).
We will curate the entrant vehicles based on varied criteria, but over all, on unique diversity. We want everyone to be excited they are driving/riding with other smaller classics they would otherwise never have an opportunity to experience on the open road.

The MG250 is a drive at your own pace event and not a time-speed-distance-trial. So there is no pressure to go fast or drive beyond your comfort level and is suitable for the novice. This not a guided tour either. Your goal is to have fun and be on time for lunch and the finish line receptions each day.
Each stage is carefully routed to provide different challenges and a great driving cadence. Each stage takes roughly one to two hours to complete with 15-30 minute rest / refuel / hydrate stops. The beautifully quaint small town lunch locations separate the days four stages. Friday & Saturday will run completely different routes.

There will be chase vehicles in case of breakdowns and workers at every stage to guide drivers/riders.
Friday morning starts in an historic river town and finishes in the evening with a cocktail & refreshment reception. Super club dinner to follow.

Saturday starts early on the big river and concludes 250 miles later with a dirty concours reception and formal dinner with driver awards in the historic inn.
Entry fee covers meals, maps, event swag (magnets, etc.), chase vehicles, flatbed towing (mileage limitations), and volunteer support. We have hotel blocks at discounted rates reserved until April 30; you’ll need to book your own reservation by then to be part of the block. We strongly recommend arriving the evening of Thursday, May 30, before the event.
