Okay, so this is cool.
It’s a 1:1 “model” of the Aston Martin that Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori drove to victory in the 1959 LeMans. The good folks at Autoblog posted a bunch of photos of this incredible piece of automotive “art”. The photos of this amazingly detailed execution (upholstered seats, real Aston Martin wheel knockoffs, etc.) were taken by Richard Pardon, a UK-based photographer. When ever I was home sick as a kid my mom would buy a plastic model for me to put together while I was in bed. If only she had gone to the RIGHT toy store.
