Rest in Peace, My Loyal Friend

by

For many of us, motorized vehicles are far more than just metal, rubber and fuel, they are part of the family. To some, they represent freedom, passion and Terra Firma.

I for one, have  always understood every nuance of every vehicle I have ever owned. Each has had it’s own personality, but some have had more soul than others. There’s always a couple that have spoken directly to the heart. A bond that is not unlike that of a boy and his loyal dog.

To Jim Key, his 1973 BMW R75/5 was just that. This summer he lost his home, shop and his beloved motorcycle to the Colorado fires.
