Fuelfed Giving Parade


Please join Fuelfed on Sunday, Dec. 12, in giving back this holiday with our annual festive Fuelfed Giving Parade to raise funds for charity and raise spirits. Signup deadline: 7pm on Friday, Dec. 10.

Fuelfed membership is not required.

Fuelfed Giving Parade participants will drive their holiday-decorated cars on a route that passes assisted living centers in Chicago’s Northshore to help brighten spirits of residents and caregivers.

Decorate any car of yours for the parade.

Pics of parade cars will be posted on our website for the public to vote for their favorite car. Top winning cars will designate the charity of their choice for the donation.

The Fuelfed Giving Parade
Sunday, December 12th
9:00 to 11:00am – Starts in Glencoe/Ends in Lake Forest

  • Open to EVERYONE driving a holiday decorated car (Fuelfed members AND non-members). Signup deadline: 7pm on Friday, Dec. 10.
  • Participants are required to make a $20 donation by 7pm Friday night (12/10) and decorate their cars in the Holiday spirit, i.e…lights wrapping the car, Xmas tree strapped to roof, antlers on the hood, snowflakes…be creative. CLICK HERE.
  • If you want to donate and not drive, please do and let us know you won’t be driving. And, if you want to make a more generous donation, please use this link CLICK HERE.
  • You will receive an email confirmation within a day of receiving your payment. By Dec.11 you will receive an email with the staging location in Glencoe and your staging time slot. Giving Parade packets (routes & stickers) will be handed out during staging. You will be put into a group of 25 cars (a max of four groups).
  • The route will conclude in downtown Lake Forest where each car will drive through our usual Fuelfed LF location to be photographed for voting purposes.
  • Fuelfed will post the car photos on the Fuelfed website for everyone and anyone to vote on their favorites. There will be one winner per each run group, and each winner gets to name a charity they’d like to receive a donation.
