1967 Benelli 250S. Yes, this is a real Benelli, NOT a Wards Riverside.
5320 Original miles
I bought this in 2014 as a restored bike. Everything had been gone through…Or so I thought.
Ended up having to rebuild the engine with a new barrel, piston, rings, head, valve seats and valves. Bill Truesdale at Apex in Bensonville, IL did all the engine work. I also rebuilt the Dellorto 24mm carb with new jets, float, needle and gaskets. I also redid the ignition system and throttle and clutch cables. Have all the receipts for the work and parts.

Pretty much a new and great running classic Italian cafe racer. Vintage MotoGiro and RetroMoto eligible.
Some of the high end desirable components are the Borrani high lip alloy wheels with stainless steel spokes. Conti exhaust. Vented drum brakes. Tommaselli switch gear. Hagon shocks ad springs. CEV lights. Veglia speedo, Marzocchi forks. The beautiful hand machined details are what make this such a piece of motoring history. This little Benelli can out run the $25k Ducati Diana 250 and is arguably just as passionate.
Ride it, show it and keep it in your living room.
$4900
