January Coffee & Classics® FTL

As we settle in for a long cold winters’ nap, our Fuelfed cohorts down in Fort Lauderdale (FTL) get to have some Sunday morning fun. Our C&C FTL Director Martin Meissner gives us his December report. We also want to thank Jon van Woerden Photography (yes that Jon from the Roundel) for again giving us excellent photo coverage.

December 28th was the second C&C Ft. Lauderdale event and the last for 2014, as you can see from the pictures it was a warm and sunny day for our event. We certainly feel for our compatriots up north, who are in the midst of automotive hibernation.

Even though the event took place between the Christmas and New Year’s Holidays, the folks who had attended the first event in November were so enthusiastic that were asking for us to hold a December event. Were they looking for an opportunity to get out of the house and away from visiting family? Perhaps! None the less, some familiar faces and some new ones arrived. Everyone that comes to C&C – both attendees and passers by – continue to have a good time and mention that they’re happy that an event for the European Car community in the area has been established.

Now that we’re past the holiday season, we look forward to the 2015 events, and hopefully a growing display of cars. See you on January 25th!

Great pictures! Nice to see a BMW E30 convertible there, they are very fun cars on the back roads with the top down, especially with the 5-speed.
