We’re always fabricating for, and improving upon, our vehicles. We had to “pop-out” a dent in one of the plastic bumper corners on the work truck. We figured heat would soften the plastic in order push out the dent. It did. But what it did do, was bring back the color as well. We went around the whole truck and “sweat” the plastic trim with great results. We then followed up with Mcguiars Replenish to keep it moisturized. Heat guns work, but real heat works best.
If you don’t have mechanical sensibilities, please don’t try this yourself.
