Having spent the past weekend working on the black Fuelfed 911 3.2, I still marvel at how Porsche engineered such a compact little bullet. With the help of Fuelfed member Bruce K., we spent Sunday morning adjusting the 911’s valve lash. Yes, a job that is not hard, but takes patience, feel and dexterity. I proceeded to do a major tune-up with all ignition components, fluids and filters being replaced. I always get great satisfaction out of working on Porsches.

It saddens me that Porsche’s focus as a man and a company, was so pure at one time and today has been completely forgotten. Yes, future technology is a must, but connectivity is still what satisfies the human soul.

Where is the Ferry Porsche of today?
