Kautz Qualifying at VIR

Tim was on his hot lap when he hit some gear oil, then spun into the grass and mud in true Shahin style. He thought; that’s it, I’m starting in the back of the grid. Two minutes go by and the wrecker arrives and proceeds to drag him out. He fires up the car, takes short cuts back to the paddock and has his crew buckle him back in and out he goes again with 4 minutes left. With mud on his tires and fire in his veins, Tim goes out to pull off the fastest lap to qualify on pole. It’s this determination that won him last years’ FF championship and his first race as a pro last weekend at VIR.
