We’ve had a lot of inquires about Coffee & Classics this coming Sunday morning from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. If these are any indicators, we should have a quite a hefty showing if the weather cooperates.
I’m looking forward to seeing familiar faces & meeting many new ones. Lorraine or I will try to greet each driver but if we can’t get to you fast enough please seek us out and say hello. I’ll have the brown striped cap and glasses. Lorraine will have the black jacket and gray hat with a big smile.
Don’t surprised if videographer Frank V. and Lorraine approach you for a little interview about your classic. Photographers Jeff B. and Ian Merritt will be digitally capturing all the cars for our Coffee Classics gallery.
As tradition, each classic car will receive a coveted Fuelfed magnet.
We’ll have road signs pointing the way to the gathering positioned at Greenbay & Elm as well as Sheridan & Elm. Also see the map here.
Café Aroma will be open at 8:00 am for coffee and carry outs or gourmet breakfast. Little Ricky’s will also be open for brunch at 11:30 am. Please support our local merchants.
Again, this is a casual gathering for classic car enthusiasts only. Boy racers, posers and big chromes should stay at their show in Glenview.
Finally, please be respectful of local traffic passing through the gathering. The Winnetka police were patient with us last year, and we don’t want lose our beautiful location.
